Job Description

The Planning Director at Publicis Groupe will be the media expert, responsible for media innovation and client experience. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering effective media solutions, managing media channels for optimal quality, collaborating with clients and internal teams, contributing to agency pitches, leading the digital team and business growth. Success will be measured by KPI delivery, client satisfaction, increased billings, and positive feedback from unit leaders. Job Description

·         Be the “media master” in the team, who is majorly responsible for media innovation of client media experience

·         Engage with senior-level clients to deliver media solutions that effectively, efficiently build business and brand value.

·         Work closely and manage full media channels to ensure best quality delivery

·         Work closely with the client head/clients to ensure the best in class overall media experience

·         Work with the internal team to ensure best-practice media strategy techniques are cascaded through the organization.

·         Support in necessary sections of pitches of the agency

·         Lead the digital team and digital business of agency to grow

KPI’s / Vision of success

·         KPI Delivery (forecast and delivery)

·         Increase in client satisfaction on all media related items

·         Increased billings and services

·         Unit/Business Leaders Feedback

Qualifications

·         A strong understanding of marketing and communication strategy to link full media channels to brand business need

·         Must be wholly expert in media strategy, media planning – a person who creates complete confidence with senior-level marketing clients

·         Articulate and persuasive, excellent presentation skills, confident in his/her knowledge of media topics and trends

·         Affluent communication ability & client service ability for senior-level clients

·         Open minded with creativity thinking and strong idea generation ability

·         Highly collaborative – proven ability to bring together a team to achieve best results

·         Highly motivated to drive change, even in the face of challenging industry and client dynamics

·         At least 7 years of experience in agency or related field and 5 years of experience in media planning related area

·         As least 4 years of leadership experience demonstrating strong people management and collaborative skills

·         Knowledge of China market and media landscape is crucial
