Summary

We are hiring for a Project Tool Specialist for the Frostbite Operations Team reporting directly to the Director of Operation. As a Jira and Coda developer and administrator, you will collaborate with people across client’s multiple functional departments to gather requirements, suggest best practices, and implement and support changes to Jira and Coda aimed to increase efficiencies and optimize users' tooling experiences.

Responsibilities

  • You will carry out Jira and Coda development and administration tasks

  • You will design and develop workflows; build custom applications using plugins (Jira) or Packs (Coda); develop mechanisms to automate manual processes

  • You will also provide subject matter expertise in discussions regarding governance

  • You will develop metrics dashboards and reports to provide development teams and senior leadership with meaningful metrics and status reports

  • You’ll have to balance user requests and business needs against established JIRA and Coda governance best practices

  • You will create and maintain documentation and provide training to users across the organization

  • You will maintain strong and healthy relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Manage all aspects of the Atlassian tool chain including custom Jira workflows, custom fields, schemes, add-ons and integrations

  • Possess traditional Java development experience and understanding how to use HTML/CSS/JS and using/extending REST/API Services

  • Implement custom JQL functions

  • Have knowledge of Structure’s Expr formulas

  • Understand best practices for setting up Coda based on internal security policies, including how to structure workspaces and folders

  • Manage Coda workspaces and pack usage, set sharing policies, and access management

  • Be knowledgeable about the Coda formula language and formula builder

  • Understand common database patterns and best practices, set up tables and views, create connections between tables, and use filters and conditional formatting.

  • Be able to create workflows in Coda that power our business processes, including the use of buttons and automation

  • Be able to setup integration with external tools such as Jira

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
