We’re looking to hire a Promotions Specialist for a hybrid contract opportunity located in Anaheim, CA with a leading and beloved entertainment brand.
In this role, the Promotions Specialist will prepare compelling promotional content and presentations, support cross-functional collaboration, and coordinate promotional events. This opportunity offers an exciting chance to contribute to the success of high-visibility campaigns across Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pitch sheets and proposals for partners on key initiatives.
- Create presentations and recap decks for Promotions Managers.
- Draft contracts for Promotions Managers based on negotiated terms with partners.
- Complete Contract Summary (CSS) forms for Promotions Managers.
- Track contract status and follow up to ensure documents are received from partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Parks Brand Strategy, CRM, PR/Public Affairs, Social/Digital Marketing, Corporate Alliance, Operations, Consumer Products Commercial, and DPEP Synergy, to ensure promotional activity aligns with strategic objectives for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Consumer Products, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line, while adhering to operational guidelines.
- Coordinate media remotes and events, including planning and production logistics with Special Events and Park Operations.
- Provide cross-functional support for Walt Disney World and Disneyland programs.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, and excellent project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with outside agencies, partners, and media.
- Strong eye for creative execution informed by consumer insights.
- Background in marketing, business affairs, advertising, or broadcast communications is preferred, but at a minimum, a passion for meeting consumer needs through strategic and creative thinking.
- Proven ability to execute plans that deliver on strategy, on time, and on budget with exceptional attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, comfortable with ambiguity, a bias for action, and the ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships.
- Collaborative mindset; receptive to feedback; willing to tackle a wide range of tasks (preferred).
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong prioritization skills (preferred).
- High energy with a strong desire to learn and grow (preferred).
- Interest in and knowledge of video production and new media (preferred).
- 3–5 years of promotional and relevant work experience (preferred).
- Spoken and written proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
- Previous work experience with The Walt Disney Company (preferred).
Required Education:
