Job Description

The Quality Management System Manager will join the Quality & Customer Satisfaction Department within the Land and Air Systems (LAS) activity at Thales' Elancourt site. This role contributes to managing the Quality Management System for the LAS GBU, supporting the entity's operational performance. Key responsibilities include user support, process steering, animating the management system network, handling evolution requests, administering publications, conducting internal audits, and providing training.
Must Have:
  • Provide support to users and process owners
  • Ensure proper steering of processes
  • Animate the network of various Management System stakeholders
  • Handle evolution requests in coordination with process owners
  • Administer and manage Management System publications
  • Act as quality manager for certain processes
  • Participate in the proper application of Management System governance and certification policy
  • Conduct internal audits or assessments
  • Provide training or awareness sessions to quality and operational teams
  • Bac+5 degree (Engineer or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in quality management system or quality audit and/or accreditation management
  • Good knowledge of ISO certifications (9001, 27001, 37001, 20000, …) and accreditation management (compliance)
  • Proficiency in IT tools (data analysis)
  • Knowledge in process management and project management
  • Good level of English

Your daily life

At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales' most important technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.

Within the "Land and Air Systems" (LAS) activity, you will join the Quality & Customer Satisfaction Department and report to the Quality & Customer Satisfaction Director.

You will contribute to the management of the LAS GBU Quality Management System for the benefit of the entity's operational performance.

Your main missions are:

  • Provide support to users and process owners
  • Ensure proper steering of processes (COPIL, contribution to Management System Steering Committee, Management System Progress Review and Chorus2 Steering Committee reviews, regular update of the process roadmaps tracking table)
  • Animate the network of various Management System stakeholders (Company Process Owner, Company Process Owner Deputy, process domain representative, process Quality representative)
  • Handle evolution requests in coordination with process owners, the CCM, and the Central Quality team in charge of the Chorus management system
  • Administer and manage Management System publications
  • Act as quality manager for certain processes
  • Participate in the proper application of Management System governance and certification policy
  • Conduct internal audits or assessments
  • Provide training or awareness sessions to quality and operational teams in support of process owners

Your Profile

A graduate with a Bac+5 degree (Engineer or equivalent), do you have significant experience in quality management systems or quality auditing and/or accreditation management?

  • Do you have good knowledge of ISO certifications (9001, 27001, 37001, 20000, …) and accreditation management (compliance)?
  • Are you proficient in IT tools (data analysis) and do you have knowledge in process management and project management?
  • Are you recognized for your proactive, dynamic, and collaborative approach?
  • Do you have a good level of English?
