You will join the Optronic Simulation Service of the entity, which participates in the study and design of optronic systems, by modeling equipment and evaluating their performance.
The evaluation of these performances mainly involves an analytical simulation of the components of these systems and requires metrics.
Within a young and multidisciplinary team, the challenge of the internship is therefore to verify these metrics, by comparing the performances obtained analytically with those observed from simulated or real images.
By joining us, you will be entrusted with the following missions:
1. Mastery of the optronic chain
2. Understanding current performance metrics
3. Familiarization with analytical performance calculation tools and image simulation tools
4. Analytical performance calculations and generation of simulated images for different equipment in a variety of scenarios
5. Implementation of a comparison strategy between calculated and observed performances
6. Verification of performance metrics and reflection on possible improvements
