Refurbishing Technician - $19.52/hr Days Monday- Friday 7:30 am- 4:00 Pm- Some OT required

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

The Refurbishing Technician – is responsible for rebuilding, testing, and preparing previously owned Greenworks products for resale. This role ensures each unit meets Greenworks' performance and cosmetic standards. The technician will follow standardized work processes, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and support overall production goals for refurbished inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble lawn mowers and other power equipment according to standard procedures.
• Replace defective or worn parts, including motors, blades, switches, and wiring harnesses.
• Perform function testing to ensure refurbished units operate safely and correctly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively and safely.
• Accurately label and prepare units for packaging and palletization.
• Maintain an organized workstation and adhere to 5S principles.
• Collaborate with team leads and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Report inventory discrepancies or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with process improvements and suggest workflow enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support reconditioning operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or reconditioning preferred.
• Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow work instructions and meet quality standards.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
