Job Description

GlobalStep is seeking an HR administrative assistant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate is a creative, quick-thinking individual with strong clerical, time management, and customer service skills. This organized and detail-oriented professional will report to the HR Director and assist with daily administrative and HR duties, contributing to a great HR team. The role involves supporting HR functions, managing employee records, preparing reports, handling communications, and assisting with policies, processes, payroll, and employee databases, as well as welcoming new staff.
Must Have:
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties
  • Compile and update employee records
  • Create, prepare, and deliver reports to various departments
  • Receive and forward communications to different staff and departments
  • Assist HR with policies and processes management
  • Coordinate with human resources for admin tasks, including payroll and employee databases
  • Assist on welcoming visitors and new employees (onsite and remotely)
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French, written and orally)
  • At least one-year proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant administrative position
  • Tech savvy and skilled with Microsoft Office
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent training/experience
  • Meticulous approach to administrative tasks
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong task and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
  • Basic math abilities and understanding of basic financial concepts
  • Wired internet connection capabilities

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Fluently bilingual, strong communication skills in both English and French (written and orally)
  • At least one-year proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field or other equivalent training/experience.
