Job Description
This contract opportunity (6 months to 1 year) is for an experienced and talented automotive Vehicle Integration Technician. The role involves diagnosing and repairing ECUs and PCBs, providing technical support to team members, maintaining detailed records, and reworking printed circuit boards. The technician will also be responsible for assembling small units for electric vehicles, requiring basic skills in soldering, wiring harnesses, and component testing.
Good To Have:
Electric vehicle experience is preferred
Must Have:
Diagnose and repair ECUs and PCBs.
Communicate with team members for technical support.
Maintain detailed records and create documentation.
Rework printed circuit boards according to engineering specifications.
Basic skills in soldering and making wiring harnesses.
Testing components and PCBs using test stations.
2-4 years experience in electronic/engineering labs.
Technology/Technician degree or equivalent experience.
Strong electrical knowledge.
Familiarity with test equipment like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

Job Functions: * Diagnose and repair ECU’s and PCB’s, including prototypes and test bench setups. * Communicate with fellow team members (engineers, managers or other technicians) to provide technical support. * Maintain detailed records of work completed and create documentation for test and assembly processes. * Rework printed circuit boards according to engineering specifications and standards. * This position is for someone with basic skills of soldering, making wiring harnesses, testing components and PCB’s using “test stations”, not analytical testing. Small units will be assembled and sent for assembly into Electric vehicles. ## Qualifications: * 2 – 4 years experience in electronic/ engineering labs * Technology/ Technician degree or equivalent experience * Electric vehicle experience is preferred * Strong electrical knowledge with soldering and harnessing skills * Familiarity with test equipment like voltmeters, oscilloscopes and network analyzers Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour *Work Authorization Required
