Model Geometry Engineer

Technicon Design Sweden offers an exciting opportunity for a Model Geometry Engineer to join their client’s team in Gothenburg, Sweden. This onsite contract position starts early 2026. The role involves developing geometry models for existing and new exterior/interior projects, from concept phase through to design freeze.

Must Have

• Minimum 5 years experience in CATIA V5 within the automotive business
• Experience in prototype construction using Catia V5 or similar
• Proficiency in producing showcars, models for milling, and 3D printing
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Good to Have

• Experience with Blender, Maya or similar CAD programs for handling polygon models

A new and exciting opportunity is available for an Engineer to join our client’s team. This position is based on site. The contract start date is early 2026.

Description of the assignment:

The consultant will work with existing projects and as well new projects, exterior/interior. The work tasks would consist of development of the geometry models. Preferably the consultant should be able to work from concept phase all the way to design freeze.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• Minimum experienced (5+ years) from similar work in CATIA V5 within automotive business.
• Prototype construction in Catia V5 or similar.
• Production of showcars, models for milling, models for 3d printing etc.
• Blender, Maya or similar CAD program to handle polygon models is a plus.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Microsoft office.
