Summary

As Regulatory and Litigation Counsel at Google, you'll be part of a team leading the defense strategy against government and regulatory actions in the APAC region. Minimum qualifications:

  • JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
  • 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience engaging with government regulators, such as consumer and data protection authorities, prosecutors and others.
  • Experience working with public company boards and their counsel, including special committees and audit committees.
  • Experience developing, evaluating, and maintaining programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
  • Knowledge of privacy, consumer protection, antitrust, agreement, content moderation/safety, or IP law issues in a technology context.
  • Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, time management, investigative skills, with the ability to be action-oriented and collaborate effectively across teams in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
