Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, well-organized, and independent Revenue Controlling Specialist with experience or a strong interest in financial planning focused on studio income. As part of the Finance team, you will support revenue processes end-to-end, including issuing invoices, reviewing commercial agreements, reconciling partner settlements, reporting actuals, and preparing plans, forecasts, and insightful analyses. This role involves close cooperation with sales departments for revenue planning, updating projections, and providing financial insights for cost control. You will handle operational revenue processes, verify licensing reports, ensure proper revenue recognition, and prepare performance reports with gap analysis, also participating in the month-end closing process.
Must have:
  • Master's degree in Finance or Economics
  • Minimum 2 years in financial planning/forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills and data analysis
  • Familiarity with IFRS and Polish Accounting Act
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Confident English proficiency
  • High independence and responsibility
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query

Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic, well-organized, and independent specialist with experience  or a strong interest in financial planning focused on the Studio’s income.

As a member of our Finance team, you’ll be supporting our revenue processes end-to-end: from issuing invoices and reviewing commercial agreements, through reconciling partner settlements and reporting actuals, to preparing plans, forecasts, and insightful analyses.

Your responsibilities/Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing short- and long-term revenue plans in close cooperation with the company’s sales departments
  • Regularly updating revenue projections and providing crucial input into financial result forecasts
  • Supporting sales departments in their day-to-day activities by providing data, delivering financial insights, reviewing contracts, and assisting in the planning and control of their costs
  • Handling operational revenue processes, including issuing sales invoices, verifying licensing reports for accuracy and compliance, and ensuring proper revenue recognition in financial books and internal management reporting
  • Preparing cyclical and ad hoc performance reports for Top Management, with focus on gap analysis
  • Participating in the month-end closing process

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, or data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, including working with diverse data from multiple sources and drawing clear, practical conclusions
  • Familiarity with IFRS and the Polish Accounting Act
  • Ability to understand complex business contexts and navigate interrelated processes with ease
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Confident English, and Polish for everyday work in an international environment
  • High level of independence and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Sharp attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query
  • Hands-on experience with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment
  • Genuine interest in gaming — as a player and/or an industry follower
