The Safety Officer will manage EHS compliances, handle audits, liaise with government officials, and implement safety programs to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Must have:
  • Good knowledge of EHS Compliances in the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Mandatory experience of Green Field Projects with the automotive industry.
  • Competent to handle all EHS & Customer audits.
  • Good Liaoning with Govt. officials.
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills.
  • Adherence of Safety Training Calendar.
  • GEMBA Walk.
  • Safety Talk with employees.
  • Near miss reporting & Incident Investigation.
  • Root Cause Analysis.
  • Conducting Safety Committee Meetings.
  • Strengthen 5S culture in plant.
  • Stopping work that is safety non-compliant.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Diploma / B.tech in Mechanical Engineering from reputed college.
  • Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI (Regional Labour Institute) is must.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in EHS.
  • Good knowledge of Safety.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication Skill in English.
  • Good Knowledge of World, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Should agree to stay in Gurgaon or nearby.

JOB PURPOSE

Job purpose is to ensure that organizations are compliant with the laws and regulations that govern their operations. It also helps to create a safe and healthy environment in the workplace, which is essential for the well-being of employees.

  • A person with having good knowledge of EHS Compliances in the automotive manufacturing industry.

What we’re looking for

  • Diploma / B.tech in Mechanical Engineering from reputed college & Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI (Regional Labour Institute) is must.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in EHS.
  • Good knowledge of Safety, Excellent verbal and written communication Skill in English
  • Good Knowledge of World, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Should agree to stay in Gurgaon or nearby.

SAFETY

This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices, and training as outlined in the PHINIA CTCM Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in a manner that stresses the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
