Job Description

The Senior Consultant in Deals Tax (Reorganisation & Succession) will join PwC Poland's Private Clients team, specializing in comprehensive tax support for businesses and individuals. The role focuses on wealth creation, protection, and transfer, including succession planning with family foundations, and assisting entrepreneurs with tax-efficient business solutions. Responsibilities also include advising on capital transactions like acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations (mergers, divisions, transformations), and real estate transactions, covering both Polish and international tax law, as well as ongoing income tax advisory.
Good To Have:
  • Tax advisor or legal counsel qualifications.
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages.
Must Have:
  • Analyze tax regulations, interpretations, and case law to assess tax implications of transactions.
  • Prepare tax advice, documents for tax proceedings and disputes, and assist with tax audits.
  • Actively participate in transactional and reorganization projects.
  • Participate in projects for private entrepreneurs and family businesses, including succession planning.
  • Provide ongoing daily support to Polish and international clients.
  • Collaborate with other PwC teams in Poland and abroad.
  • Engage, supervise, and support the development of less experienced team members.
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax advisory.
  • Higher education (preferably legal, financial, or economic).
  • Knowledge of CIT, VAT, and PCC taxes (including international regulations).
  • Very good command of English (min. B2).
  • Responsible, committed, and inquisitive approach to tasks.
  • Analytical skills, problem identification, and active solution-seeking.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, teamwork, effective communication, and readiness to develop client interaction skills.

Job Description & Summary

Private Clients at PwC Poland is a team of 15 tax experts. We provide comprehensive support services for both businesses and private individuals, focusing on aspects related to wealth creation, protection, and transfer. We specialize in succession planning (including the use of family foundations) and supporting entrepreneurs in finding and implementing solutions that ensure the tax efficiency of their operations. We support our clients in capital transactions, including: acquisitions and disposals of companies and enterprises, reorganization of capital structures including mergers, divisions, and transformations, and real estate transactions. Our advice covers both aspects of Polish tax law and international law. We also provide ongoing advisory services in the area of income taxes (including withholding tax).

We are looking for:

Senior Consultant

Your future role:

  • Analysis of regulations, interpretations of tax authorities, and case law to assess the tax implications of specific transactions.
  • Preparation of draft advice, letters in tax proceedings and court disputes, as well as participation in handling tax audits.
  • Active participation in transactional and reorganization projects.
  • Participation in projects for private entrepreneurs and family businesses - including those related to succession planning.
  • Ongoing, daily service for regular Polish and foreign clients.
  • Cooperation with other PwC teams in Poland and abroad.
  • Engaging less experienced team members, supervising their work, and supporting their development.

Apply if you:

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in tax advisory.
  • Have higher education (preferred: legal, financial, or economic).
  • Have knowledge of CIT taxes (including international regulations), VAT, PCC, and want to deepen your knowledge in all key taxes.
  • Have a very good command of English (min. B2).
  • Are characterized by responsibility for assigned tasks, commitment, and inquisitiveness.
  • Have analytical skills, the ability to identify problems, and actively seek solutions.
  • Have developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, and effective communication with colleagues, as well as a readiness to develop skills in client contact and with their advisors.
