We are hiring a Senior Media Planner to build, execute, and manage strong paid media plans to support clients’ marketing objectives. Responsibilities include planning, trafficking, and optimizing campaigns across traditional, digital, performance, and emerging channels. This client-facing role involves communication, managing internal and external teams, and campaign maintenance from brief to wrap-up. A deep understanding of media processes, from trafficking to reporting setup, pre-planning, and optimization, is essential. Key duties include developing strategic responses to client briefs, launching and managing media campaigns, serving as a key point of contact, and working with investment teams and external media partners.
Must have:
  • 3-4 years agency experience in media planning
  • Experience across multiple media channels (search, social, CTV, video)
  • Proven campaign development experience
  • Ability to oversee campaign progress and client contact
  • Knowledge of media software (MRI, Nielsen, DCM, Google Ads, Prisma, MediaOcean, ComScore, Pathmatics)

Job Details

We are hiring a Senior Media Planner to build, execute, and manage strong paid media plans to support clients’ marketing objectives. You’ll be responsible for planning, trafficking, and optimizing campaigns across all paid channels including traditional, digital, performance, and emerging spaces. This is a client-facing role where you will assist in communication, manage internal & external teams towards project completion, and be responsible for campaign maintenance from brief to wrap. You’ll need an in-depth understanding of how media processes work, from trafficking media to handling reporting setup, pre-planning, and campaign optimization. 


You Will:

  • Build strategic responses to client briefs, using knowledge of paid media channel mix development to achieve client business objectives.
  • Launch and manage media campaigns, including trafficking and setting up reporting mechanisms to track performance across all paid channels.
  • Serve as key point of contact for internal & external teams, ensuring seamless communication, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Support in status meetings and manage email communication chains for ongoing projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Work closely with investment teams and external media partners to ensure inclusion of optimal media placements, smooth campaign launches, close monitoring & timely optimizations, and consistent delivery of performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party vendors, keeping up-to-date on their offerings and sharing relevant opportunities with teams & clients.
  • Manage the development and delivery of client analytics and ROI reports, ensuring full accountability for campaign performance.

You Have:

  • 3-4 years of agency experience in media planning, with a strong track record of managing campaigns across multiple media channels.
  • MUST HAVE: Experience working across multiple media channels, including search, social, CTV, video, etc.
  • Proven experience in campaign development: overseeing campaign setup, writing RFPs, providing feedback, executing plans, and taking full ownership of campaigns from start to finish.
  • Ability to oversee campaign progress, act as key client contact, and ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Knowledge of media software including: MRI, Nielsen, DoubleClick DCM, Google Ad Products & Ad Words, Prisma/MediaOcean, MediaTools (or similar budgeting software), ComScore, Pathmatics.
  • Ability to thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Entrepreneurial & proactive spirit, a willingness to take charge in unstructured situations, and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Experience working effectively with both internal teams and clients, managing multiple stakeholders in a project.
  • National Planning Experience: Ability to contribute to cross-channel strategies at the national level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage complex & frequently changing budgets, maintaining clean & organized budget trackers, resulting in accurate and up to date client billing.
  • Experience with the trafficking process across various channels, knowledge of tagging options & capabilities, purpose of taxonomy, and impact of set-up process on ultimate reporting capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • An enthusiastic and adaptable mindset, with a passion for media and a proven track record of campaign success.
