Critical Mass is seeking a Contract Senior Content Analyst to lead the development, optimization, and governance of AI-driven content experiences for client digital platforms. This role involves sourcing, structuring, and enhancing content for generative AI models to ensure high-quality, relevant user interactions. Key responsibilities include leading content planning, structuring, and optimization for AI models, conducting content analysis and auditing, driving content operations and governance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, reporting insights, establishing best practices, staying updated on AI trends, educating internal teams, and managing projects. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in content management or strategy, with at least 3 years in AI-driven content or generative AI technologies, strong technical skills with databases and reporting tools, a deep understanding of SEO and user experience, excellent analytical and project management abilities, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Details

Critical Mass is looking for a Contract Senior Content Analyst with a focus on AI, content operations and strategic planning to lead the development, optimization, and governance of AI driven content experiences for our clients’ digital platforms. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in sourcing, structuring, and enhancing the content used to train generative AI models, ensuring high quality, relevant, and bran aligned interactions for users. Your expertise will support strategic decision making and drive continuous improvement through data analysis, collaboration, and innovation.


You Will:

  • Lead Content Planning & Structuring - Oversee the end-to-end process of gathering, segmenting, and preparing content for integration with AI models, ensuring information is accurate, well organized, and aligned with both user needs and brand guidelines
  • Optimize Content for AI Models - Input and structure content in databases to maximize effectiveness for Large Language Models (LLMs), collaborating with technical teams to ensure seamless utilization and scalability
  • Conduct Content Analysis & Auditing - Regularly audit existing content and analyze user interactions, feedback, and performance data to identify gaps, usage trends, and opportunities for content improvements
  • Drive Content Operations & Governance - Define and document workflows, roles, responsibilities, and best practices for content management and AI governance, ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity
  • Collaborate Across Functions - Partner with Technology, UX, SEO, Marketing Science, and other cross functional teams to align content strategies with business objectives and deliver cohesive user experiences
  • Report & Communicate Insights - Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations that translate data findings into strategic recommendations for both internal teams and clients
  • Establish & Evangelize Best Practices - Develop guidelines and scalable processes for content analysis and operations, mentoring team members and promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Stay Ahead of AI Trends - Proactively research and share advancements in AI, machine learning, and content strategy, recommending new tools or methodologies to enhance the digital experience
  • Educate & Support Internal Teams - Create onboarding materials, training resources, and tutorials to support colleagues’ understanding of AI content processes, ensuring consistent adoption of best practices
  • Lead Problem Solving & Project Management -Identify and address operational challenges, develop solutions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and drive quality outcomes

 

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in content management, strategy, or analysis
  • 3+ years of experience working with AI driven content or generative AI technologies
  • Strong technical skills with databases, content operations, and reporting tools
  • Deep understanding of SEO, user experience, and performance measurement
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with experience translating complex data into clear recommendations
  • Strong cross functional collaboration and leadership skills
  • Ability to mentor, educate, and drive adoption of best practices among team members

This position requires candidates to obtain a Level 2 Security Clearance in accordance with U.S. government regulations. As such, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible to apply.

This is a contract position ending in Dec 2025.  Posted salary is hourly rate.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$59 - $59 USD
