Senior Product Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Product team in Perth and are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager  to join the team. 

As a Senior Platform Product Manager, you will focus on delivering scalable, reusable, and robust platform services. In this role, you will manage various responsibilities within a platform domain, addressing dependencies and estimations to ensure successful product delivery in line with VGW's business goals.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and manage core platform capabilities to meet business goals and product vision.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Product Management to align platform capabilities with product strategies.
  • Drive technical feasibility evaluations and cost assessments, ensuring product requirements fit the platform.
  • Oversee platform program management, managing dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Partner with Architecture, Engineering, and Security teams to estimate requirements and define implementation needs.
  • Select and manage platform vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs/SLOs are met and expenditures are within budget.
  • Define and track success metrics for platform performance, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in Product Management within platform and technology environments.
  • Experience in a scaled-up, high-growth, fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to effectively engage with Engineering teams and a deep understanding of technical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines effectively, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Tertiary education in Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.
