Job Description

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will lead delivery for 2-3 engineering teams, engaging in advanced technology projects to achieve team objectives and enhance organizational capabilities. Responsibilities include running Agile ceremonies, applying Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban, maintaining a healthy backlog with the Product Owner, removing blockers, and coordinating cross-team dependencies. You will also track and improve metrics, plan releases, coach teams on Agile practices, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Lead delivery for 2-3 engineering teams
  • Run Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives
  • Apply Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban; choose and evolve the right workflow
  • Keep the backlog healthy with the PO (prioritization, refinement, DoR/DoD)
  • Remove blockers quickly; coordinate cross-team dependencies
  • Track and improve metrics (velocity, throughput, WIP, lead time, cycle time)
  • Maintain Jira/ADO boards
  • Plan and coordinate releases; align with CI/CD and change management
  • Coach teams on Agile practices, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders
  • Able to work overlapping hours across time zones; flexible during critical events

About the Role:

As a Senior Scrum Master, you'll engage in advanced technology projects and play a significant part in achieving team objectives. Your contributions will drive the success of our IT initiatives and enhance our organisational capabilities.

Experience: 8 to 10 years

Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery for 2-3 engineering teams; prior experience handling engineering teams.
  • Run Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
  • Apply Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban; choose and evolve the right workflow.
  • Keep the backlog healthy with the PO (prioritization, refinement, DoR/DoD).
  • Remove blockers quickly; coordinate cross-team dependencies.
  • Track and improve metrics (velocity, throughput, WIP, lead time, cycle time); maintain Jira/ADO boards.
  • Plan and coordinate releases; align with CI/CD and change management.
  • Coach teams on Agile practices, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
  • Able to work overlapping hours across time zones; flexible during critical events.
