Job Description

You'll be working in the Neo Access POD team, based in Poland, focusing on the login and entitlements experience for "Neo", a globally distributed platform with over 2 million users. The role involves staying updated with authentication standards and technology to provide high security and reliability. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting front-office trading applications, translating complex business requirements into innovative solutions, applying software engineering practices for quality and security, collaborating with a global team, building observability, monitoring production health, resolving incidents, and sharing knowledge within the engineering culture.

  • Understanding of industry standard messaging protocols (e.g., FIX, Kafka)
  • Experience with Javascript

  • Excellent backend stack programming skills
  • Strong Java skills (+10 years of experience)
  • Strong DevOps skills (+5 years of experience)

  • Automated approach to testing to ensure high-quality solutions

You'll be working in the Neo Access POD team, based in Poland. We look after the login and entitlements experience for "Neo", a globally distributed platform with 2m+ users. Authentication standards and technology are constantly shifting and we need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends.

The Neo team has around 100 people, spread globally.

Responsibilities

  • design, develop and support front-office trading applications, working closely with business users to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into innovative solutions.
  • apply a broad range of software engineering practices to ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions, focusing on both functional and non-functional needs.
  • work closely with the global team to further develop and innovate the trading applications
  • building observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
  • share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Skills

Must have

  • Excellent backend stack programming skills:
  • Strong Java skills +10 years of experience
  • Strong DevOps skills +5 years of experience
  • SQL and database knowledge.
