Job Description & Summary
As a Solution Architect in the internal IT department (ITS), you turn our human-led, tech-powered strategy into secure, scalable solutions. You design end-to-end solutions and steer delivery across a diverse landscape of country-specific and network applications, collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.
What you will do
As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for shaping and realizing our “human-led, tech-powered” strategy. You understand business processes and capabilities and can translate these into the right solutions that truly add value to our IT landscape. You develop and maintain technical designs and ensure their consistent application.
In a diverse environment with country-specific and network applications, you work closely with international teams. You provide valuable input at all stages of the design process, whether it concerns new products or adjustments to existing applications.
Your primary location will be Utrecht, but flexibility to be in Amsterdam from time to time due to projects or meetings is required.
Key result areas:
- Analyzing and translating requirements into technical designs;
- Supporting business cases and project documentation;
- Advising on and presenting solutions to stakeholders;
- Guiding implementations and improving processes.
You recognize yourself in this
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience (architecture, engineering, consulting) with strong knowledge of IT ways of working.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or (Industrial/Process) Automation—or equivalent practical experience.
- You have knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and consider citizen-led development a challenge to bring to a mature level.
- You are broadly skilled, not specifically focused on a single solution or technology.
- You always keep yourself informed of the latest relevant (IT) developments and are interested in new trends within the field.
- You are used to actively working on your own professional development.
- You can handle complexity well and you have a proactive, initiative-taking attitude with a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- You can set priorities and distinguish between main and secondary issues.
- You are able to build and maintain a relevant network, both within the organization and beyond, with attention to the interests of stakeholders.
What we offer

- A motivating working environment in which collaboration with ambitious colleagues and recognition for your contributions are paramount;
