Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of ERP, the Sr ERP Analyst will provide functional support and improve system functionality for corporate JD Edwards applications, with a special focus on Procurement and Distribution. Responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions, providing functional expertise, identifying process improvements, translating business requirements, performing testing, and generating financial reports. The role requires 7+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience, particularly with Distribution modules.
Good To Have:
  • JD Edwards certification or specialized training in JDE finance modules.
  • Experience using ServiceNow for Incident Management.
  • Experience with SQL or comparable database query tool.
  • IBM EDI experience.
  • Oracle EPM experience.
Must Have:
  • Provide functional support for corporate JD Edwards applications.
  • Improve system functionality for JD Edwards applications.
  • Design, configure, and implement solutions in JDE for procurement workflows.
  • Provide functional support and expertise for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution.
  • Identify business processes for JDE system improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Perform application testing (modifications, regression).
  • Provide tier 1-2 support and administration for JD Edwards.
  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, and business processes.
  • Work with development team/third-party vendors.
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and system testing on JD Edwards solutions.
  • Prepare help and training materials and conduct training.
  • Design and generate financial reports within JD Edwards.
  • Analyze data and reporting needs to create custom reports, dashboards, and queries.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Provide end-user training and support for JD Edwards finance users.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation.
  • Work closely with finance, IT, and other business units.
  • Maintain JD Edwards security and user profiles.
  • Work with JD Edwards users in solving complex production issues.
  • Support various interfaces to and from JD Edwards.
  • Use analytical skills and system tools to analyze root cause of data integrity issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in a Distribution business analyst role.
  • Hands-on experience with JDE Distribution modules (Purchase and Sales Order Management).
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing JD Edwards solutions.
  • Minimum 7 years’ work experience supporting JD Edwards.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Word, Google Docs & Sheets, Confluence, and workflow tools.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good analytical and evaluative skills.

The Challenge

Under the direction of the Director of ERP, the successful candidate will provide functional support and improve system functionality for the corporate JD Edwards applications that support multiple corporate departments, with a special focus on Procurement / Distribution Applications.

What You’ll Take On

  • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution modules: Purchase Order Management, Sales Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning, and Inventory
  • Design, configure, and implement solutions in JDE that enhance procurement workflows, reporting, and other distribution-related operations
  • Provide functional support and expertise for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution, with a particular focus on Procurement and Sales Orders
  • Identify business processes that can be modified to better apply the JDE systems (e.g. Improve accuracy, faster speed, repeatability)
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Perform testing of the application to ensure modifications produce expected results, as well as regression testing to ensure no adverse impact due to other adjustments in the system
  • Strong abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, brokering, and decision-making
  • Provide tier 1-2 support and administration for JD Edwards
  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
  • Work with development team/third party vendors to ensure requirements are met
  • Work hand-in-hand with technical resources to provide insight during solution development
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing on the developed JD Edwards solution
  • Prepare help and training materials and conduct training activities for system end users
  • Design and generate financial reports within JD Edwards to support management decision-making and financial analysis.
  • Analyze data and reporting needs to create custom reports, dashboards, and queries
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting processes
  • Provide end-user training and support for JD Edwards finance users, including documentation of system processes, training guides, and troubleshooting manuals
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for configuration changes, enhancements, and business processes
  • Work closely with finance, IT, and other business units to ensure seamless integration of JDE systems across the organization
  • Maintain JD Edwards security and user profiles
  • Work with JD Edwards users in solving complex production issues
  • Support various interfaces to and from JD Edwards
  • Use analytical skills and system tools to analyze and determine the root cause of data integrity issues

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • JD Edwards certification or specialized training in JDE finance modules is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in a Distribution business analyst role
  • Hands-on experience with JDE Distribution modules, primarily Purchase and Sales Order Management
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing JD Edwards solutions
  • Passion for learning and curiosity; high degree of self-awareness, attitude of learning, growth, and sense of humor
  • Minimum 7 years’ work experience supporting JD Edwards
  • Experience using ServiceNow for Incident Management is a plus
  • Experience with SQL or comparable database query tool is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening), and high proficiency in packaging disparate information into a cohesive story
  • Comfortable in challenging conventional methods of thinking
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Word, Google Docs & Sheets, Confluence, and workflow tools with a willingness to adapt
  • Ability to multitask
  • Showcase good analytical and evaluative skills in tasks
