Job Description

Accountants support our general ledger accounting team and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. They are required to have a strong accounting foundation and attention to detail. This role involves performing month-end closing procedures, preparing journal entries, maintaining sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement audits and system implementations.
Good To Have:
  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in accounting preferred
Must Have:
  • Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses
  • Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects
  • Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytic abilities and time management
  • Minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (Tuesday through Thursday on-site in Westlake/Dallas, TX and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays)

Job Description:

Accountants support our general ledger accounting team and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. They are required to have a strong accounting foundation and attention to detail.

What you’ll do:

  • Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses
  • Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies
  • Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects
  • Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytic abilities and time management
  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in accounting preferred

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree without experience.
  • Hybrid Work Model: This role follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site work at our Westlake/Dallas, TX office Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Pay Transparency:

The US base salary range for this role is $56,600- $78,600 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
