Systems Administrator

Kavaliro is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a client in Maryland.

Required Skills:

• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Stay current with DevOps trends

Required Experience

• Ten plus (10+) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five plus (5+) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 

Location:

• Fort Meade, MD
• This position is onsite and there is no remote availability

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
