Tencent Finance & Technology (FiT) Singapore seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to expand Tenpay Global's cross-border payment network. Responsibilities include cultivating strategic partnerships with global remittance institutions, optimizing transaction growth, and spearheading joint-marketing initiatives. This role requires building and managing relationships with partners, conducting business reviews, developing account plans, driving transaction volume, and enhancing client solutions. The ideal candidate will also develop and execute joint marketing strategies, aligning partner marketing actions, and supporting the product team in improving client engagement and transaction performance. The position demands strong leadership, project management, and communication skills in English and Mandarin.

What the Role Entails

Position Overview
Tencent Finance & Technology (FiT) Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of Tenpay Global's cross-border payment network. In this role, you will cultivate strategic partnerships with global remittance institutions, optimize transaction growth, and spearhead joint-marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence and industry influence. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in scaling FinTech payment solutions globally while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Client Relationship & Growth Optimization

  • Build and manage relationships with global remittance partners, ensuring strong engagement and long-term collaboration.
  • Conduct business reviews and performance analyses to align with client objectives and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, drive transaction volume growth, and maintain a pipeline for new business opportunities.
  • Work with product, operations, and compliance teams to enhance client solutions and user experience.

Integrated & Joint-Partner Marketing

  • Develop and execute joint marketing strategies with partners, leveraging brand campaigns, events, and content marketing.
  • Align partner marketing actions across BD teams to ensure cohesive market expansion efforts.
  • Support the Product Team in developing tools to improve client engagement and transaction performance.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to drive branding and user adoption campaigns.

Who We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields with a strong passion for the FinTech industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, cross-border payments, or strategic partnerships, with a proven track record in managing key accounts.
  • Strong team leadership, project management, and coordination skills, with the ability to accelerate partnership execution.
  • Experience in account management and joint-partner marketing strategies to drive revenue and market influence.
  • Ability to streamline processes and continuously improve business performance.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese Mandarin to manage both internal and external stakeholders, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
