The Processor Business Unit (PBU) at Marvell is seeking a Test Engineer Intern to join their dynamic NPI product development team in Singapore. This role involves basic ATE test program development, characterization of new products, and generation of yield/failure pareto reports. The intern will also work on developing scripts to parse raw test data, performing characterization, and automating weekly yield reports, contributing to the data infrastructure that connects our world.

Your Team, Your Impact

The Processor Business Unit (PBU) at Marvell designs and develops industry leading SoCs for wired and wireless infrastructure, leveraging IPBU’s core competencies of multi-core scaling, hardware acceleration (ex. packet and security), baseband design, software tool kits and reference enablement to provide scalable architectures and solutions that meet the compute, data-plane and baseband demands of network infrastructure such as enterprise APs, SMB, routers, switches, edge compute, core routers, firewalls, and macro/micro base stations.

As a member of a dynamic NPI product development team, the candidate will be responsible for basic ATE test program development, characterization of new products, and yield/failure pareto report generation. The member will also have an opportunity to work with various teams to auto generate key reports.

What You Can Expect

  • Understanding basic ATE test program structure and flow
  • Understanding basic production flow for processor products
  • Understanding basic fault, test coverage, and yield models
  • Generate yield/failure pareto reporting for new products
  • Develop scripts using Perl, Python,… to parse raw test data
  • Perform characterization on new products and generate standard characterization reports
  • Understanding standard end to end yield reporting formats
  • Automate generation of key weekly yield reports

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate for BS degree in EE or related technical field(s)
  • Have taken classes on basic electrical circuits theory and programming language (C/C++)
