Job Summary
Glitch Productions, an independent animation studio based in Australia with over 17 million YouTube subscribers, is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized 2D Production Coordinator. This remote, full-time role supports the Line Producer and Production Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of production and post-production departments. The coordinator will apply strong planning, tracking, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain pipeline efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and minimize disruptions across various production teams, contributing to acclaimed shows like Digital Circus.
Must Have
- Support management team in planning, tracking, and maintaining schedules.
- Coordinate and verify transfer, setup, and organization of production assets.
- Break down episode animatics into actionable lists for departments.
- Prepare episode breakdowns and launch materials.
- Track and monitor department progress for scheduled targets.
- Maintain accurate data in production management software.
- Attend production meetings, take detailed notes, and generate actionable tasks.
- Coordinate information flow from supervisors and directors to departments.
- Forecast departmental schedules and deadlines proactively.
- Identify and help resolve issues with problematic assets, shots, or files.
- Collaborate with Leads, Supervisors, and Directors to achieve project goals.
- Contribute to development and implementation of new tools and pipelines.
- Work Los Angeles/Vancouver business hours and days.
- Proven experience coordinating longform projects in 2D animation television industry.
- Experience working in shipping and animation pipeline.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Asana, Figma, Harmony, and ShotGrid.
- Strong critical thinking, initiative, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of Storyboard Pro, Harmony, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to optimise workflows.

Job Information:
Glitch Productions is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and organised Production Coordinator to support our Line Producer, Production Manager and fellow coordinators. This role is vital to the smooth operation of both our production and post-production departments.
You will apply strong planning, tracking, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills to maintain the efficiency of our production pipeline. You will work closely with various production teams to identify and reduce bottlenecks and minimise disruptions throughout the process.
Your duties will include:
Production & Post-Production Support
- Support the management team in planning, tracking, and maintaining schedules across all production and post-production departments.
- Help coordinate and verify the transfer, setup, and organisation of production assets, files, and tasks from layout through to compositing.
Episode & Asset Management
- Break down episode animatics into actionable lists for departments such as animation and FX.
- Prepare episode breakdowns and launch materials to ensure smooth transitions between departments and projects.
- Track and monitor department progress, ensuring tasks and deliverables for 2D animation, 2D FX and 3D animation meet scheduled targets.
Database & Workflow Coordination
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in production management software to ensure clarity for artists and management.
- Attend production meetings, dailies, take detailed notes, and generate actionable tasks based on meeting outcomes.
- Coordinate the flow of information from supervisors and directors to departments, ensuring consistent direction and minimizing confusion.
Problem Solving & Workflow Optimisation
- Ability to forecast departmental schedules and deadlines with a proactive approach rather than a reactive one.
- Identify and help resolve issues with problematic assets, shots, or files.
- Collaborate with Leads, Supervisors, and Directors to achieve project goals within scheduled time.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new tools and pipelines to improve production team efficiency.
A successful candidate will have:
- The ability to work Los Angeles/Vancouver business hours and days.
- Proven experience coordinating or managing longform projects in the 2D animation television industry.
- Experience working in both shipping and animation pipeline.
- Proficiency with production/project management tools such as Google Suite, Asana, Figma, Harmony, and ShotGrid.
- Strong critical thinking and ability to think independently and take initiative.
