Digital Sun is seeking a talented 3D Animator to bring characters and environments to life with motion. This role involves creating fluid animations for characters, props, and environments. The animator will work within game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine, implementing animations in real-time projects. The role demands proficiency in 3D animation software, a strong understanding of animation principles, and communication skills. This role is located in Valencia, Spain.

Good To Have:

Knowledge of facial animation techniques and tools.
Familiarity with procedural animation systems.
Understanding of animation blending and state machines.
Experience in animating for various platforms (PC and consoles).
Experience in character rigging and skinning.
Ability to adapt to different art styles.
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python, MEL).
A portfolio or reel showcasing 3D animations for games.

Must Have:

2+ years of 3D animation experience in the gaming industry.
Proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender).
Understanding of animation principles and their application.
Ability to create fluid, dynamic animations for games.
Experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine).
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Our game development studio is looking for a talented and creative 3D Animator to bring life and motion to our characters, environments, and creatures.

If you have a passion for animation and storytelling through movement, we want you on our in-house team in the vibrant city of Valencia, Spain.

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a 3D Animator in the gaming industry or a related field.
Proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, posing, and anticipation) and how they apply to game animations.
Ability to create fluid, dynamic animations for characters, props, and environments.
Experience working with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) and implementing animations into real-time projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a Spanish and English-speaking environment.

Desired Requirements:

Knowledge of facial animation techniques and tools.
Familiarity with procedural animation systems or tools for dynamic animation.
Understanding of animation blending, state machines, and IK/FK systems in game engines.
Experience in animating for various platforms (PC and consoles)
Experience in character rigging and skinning for animation.
Ability to adapt to different art styles, from realistic to stylized animations.
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python, MEL) to enhance animation workflows.
A portfolio or reel showcasing a range of 3D animations, particularly for games.
