👉 What are we looking for?

🎯 We are currently seeking an experienced 3D Artist to join our team. We would love to find a skilled 3D artist with technical knowledge of video games. Not just someone who does the work, but who thinks critically and contributes to the creative process.

👉 What will you do?

• Model environments based on concepts, 3D models, and art direction specifications.
• Model and texture landmarks and key level fixtures on a high polygon count.
• Modeling of organic and hard surfaces.
• Be able to switch between realistic and stylized.
• Help define material and light properties for ambient shaders.
• Partner closely with the engineering team to define and develop content in modern, real-time environments.
• Review and prioritize work on multiple projects.
• Oversee and manage layout, implementation, and optimization of the environment and interactive objects (including models, textures, and shaders).
• Ability to collaborate and roam according to the needs of the team.
• Understand and quickly solve issues with your cross-functional leads.

👉 Professional experience required for the role of 3D Artist @ Univrse

• At least 2/4 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist.
• Expert in scene-level design.
• Knowledge of video game optimization techniques.
• Animation.
• Expert in Low poly modeling.
• Expert in Unity3D (coding is not required).
• Real-time effects, particle systems.
• Expert in real-time and baked lighting.
• Experience with Cinema 4D or DSMax or Maya.
• Knowledge and experience developing XR apps.
• Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

👉 You will have a Big Plus if you are familiar with:

Node-based shader creation.

Audio and Video editing.

UI design.

Art direction.

Familiarity with organizational tools such as Slack, Trello, ClickUp or similar apps.

Knowledge of version control platforms such as GIT (Bitbucket).

👉 Soft Skills required for the role:

You have a focus on delivering high quality work rather than speedy work.

You love XR, AR, VR, and video games in general (Gamers welcome).

Virtual reality experience (Rift, Vive, GearVR, etc.).

You can adapt quickly to changes and new requirements.

Team player with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Available for periodic work-related travel.

Knowledge and curiosity for understanding emerging technologies.

👉 Language requirements

Must have an excellent level of English.

An at least intermediate level of Spanish.
