Job Summary
Whiteboard Games is seeking Semi-Senior or Senior Character Artists from Argentina to contribute to the production of a next-gen (PC, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series S/X) video game title. Responsibilities include developing 2D concept art, creating 3D character models, texturizing models, adapting to visual styles, collaborating with other artists, estimating tasks, and participating in meetings. The role is remote and requires the use of Discord voice calls while working. The schedule is flexible and registered work hours are tracked using the Clockify tool. The team encourages applications from interested artists.
Must Have
- Updated portfolio required for application.
- Good drawing and conceptualization skills.
- Knowledge of rigging and skinning of 3D characters.
- Autonomy in gathering references for concept art.
- Good control and knowledge of illustration software.
- Expert knowledge of 3D modeling software (3DS Max, Blender, Maya, etc.).
- Knowledge of light, color, composition, anatomy, and mood.
- Ability to adapt to different techniques and/or styles.
- Ability to texturize models and knowledge of related software (Substance Painter).
- Experience working in published video games.
- Be an Argentine citizen.
- Native level of Spanish.
Good to Have
- Control and knowledge of the Unity engine.
- Show interest in the creation of new video games.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Intermediate level of English or higher.
- Team player.

- Develop and iterate 2D concept art proposals that can then serve as inspiration and be translated to final 3D characters.
- Create 3D models of characters, ready to be animated.
- Texturize the models created.
- Build and adapt to visual/artistic styles of different projects.
- Work as a team with other artists and professionals from various areas.
- Estimate tasks while taking into account possible delays.
- Participate in weekly planning and feedback meetings (Sprints).
Requirements to apply:
