We are looking for a talented individual to join our Legal, Compliance & Public Affairs (LCPA) team at Marsh McLennan in Mexico City. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office. The Legal & Compliance Lawyer will provide legal and compliance services, including research, document preparation, contract review, and correspondence. They will also coordinate legal documents with public notaries and external lawyers.
Must have:
  • Support for assigned legal or compliance matters and projects
  • Drafting and review of basic contracts
  • Assist senior lawyers with complex issues and template development
  • Support for compliance matters like licensing, supervision, investigation, data collection, reporting, and task management
  • Management of procedures with law firms and notaries
  • Law degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory and/or legal compliance
  • Contract review experience
  • Advanced intermediate English

Job Details

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Legal, Compliance & Public Affairs (LCPA) team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week in the office.

The Legal & Compliance Lawyer will provide legal and compliance services for various legal entities. Support within a variety of related legal areas, such as research, document preparation, contract review, and correspondence. They will coordinate the delivery and preparation of legal documents with public notaries and external lawyers.

We will count on you for:

  • Support for assigned legal or compliance matters and projects, such as confidentiality agreements, engagement letters, service agreements, document review, legal research, drafting and review of basic contracts.
  • Assist senior lawyers with more complex issues, as well as in template development.
  • Support for assigned compliance matters and projects, such as licensing, supervision, investigation, data collection and synthesis, report preparation, and task management.
  • Management of procedures with various law firms and notaries.

What you need to have:

  • Required degree: Law degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in regulatory and/or legal compliance. Compliance and contract review.
  • Preferably with in-house corporate experience.
  • English. Advanced intermediate.
