Job Description

This role involves advising CIOs, CISOs, and CFOs on cybersecurity, helping companies manage their cyber risk. You will lead teams, analyze cyber risk profiles, create models for quantifying risks, and support the development and optimization of cyber emergency strategies. The position requires analyzing cybersecurity problems and technologies, participating in workshops, and presenting recommendations to control cyber risks.

These are your tasks:

  • You lead teams and jointly bring projects to success
  • On behalf of companies, you analyze their cyber risk profile or the maturity level of their information security
  • Create analytical models for quantifying cyber risks
  • Support companies in building, optimizing, or reviewing their cyber emergency strategies
  • Participate in and/or moderate workshops, exercises, etc.
  • Derive measures to control companies' cyber risk and present recommendations
  • Support in the acquisition of companies and projects
  • Conduct research and develop expertise in selected specialist topics
  • You learn methodologies from your experienced colleagues, apply them, and develop them further

This is what you bring:

  • A completed degree in (Business) Informatics or another MINT discipline, or Economics/Business Administration with a focus on Informatics, or comparable training with additional qualification in information security – alternatively, several years of relevant experience in the mentioned area of responsibility
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10% on average)
  • Solid practical experience of 3-5 years, with initial project management functions, in one or more of the following areas:
  • Information security audits, e.g., audits according to ISO27001, BSI Grundschutz, etc., and gap analyses regarding IS best practices
  • Risk consulting/assessment, e.g., assessment of technical security based on probabilities of occurrence and quantification of economic damages
  • Business Continuity Management, e.g., creation of cyber/IT emergency plans and simulation or exercise of emergency situations
  • Data protection/security
  • Penetration Testing
  • Red Teaming
