MetalBear is seeking an exceptional Account Executive for the APAC region to join their rapidly growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to own and scale the go-to-market function, close significant deals, and influence how innovative tech companies use mirrord. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, expand key accounts, qualify opportunities, and partner with leadership to refine sales strategy, aiming to exceed annual sales targets.

  • Partner directly with leadership to refine sales playbook and GTM approach in APAC
  • Consistently exceed annual sales targets
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Proven success running full-cycle sales with technical buyers
  • Self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments
  • Excellent communicator for technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong task management & forecasting discipline

MetalBear is looking for an exceptional, driven Account Executive (APAC) to join our rapidly growing team. This is a rare opportunity to own and scale a go-to-market function in one of the most exciting early-stage startups in developer tooling. You’ll help shape our sales motion across the APAC region, close meaningful deals, and directly influence how innovative tech companies ship code faster with mirrord — our open-source powered, production-grade platform.

We’re a fast-moving, seed-stage startup backed by top-tier investors and trusted by some of the world’s most innovative enterprises. Our OSS community is growing rapidly, fueling our Product-Led Growth (PLG) engine, and now we’re ready to double down on revenue growth in APAC.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, closing, and post-sale growth.
  • Manage and expand key accounts, driving adoption, upsell, and renewal retention.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities quickly and effectively, ensuring time is spent where it matters most.
  • Work closely with 3rd-party outbound partners (until we hire SDRs), guiding campaigns and collaborating as if they were internal.
  • Partner directly with leadership to refine our sales playbook, pipeline strategy, and overall GTM approach in APAC.
  • Consistently exceed annual sales targets through focused, high-quality execution.

Requirements

🔧 What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience (startups, scale-ups, or fast-moving tech environments).
  • Proven success running full-cycle sales with technical buyers (ideally DevOps, platform engineering, or developer tools).
  • Self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments with minimal structure.
  • Excellent communicator — able to adapt your message for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong task management & forecasting discipline — nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Bonus: Experience selling to APAC-based engineering teams or developer tools markets.
