Job Description

JetBrains is seeking an Account Executive for mainland China to focus on large Chinese conglomerates and partnerships. The role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, resolving compliance issues, identifying opportunities for Developer Experience, and managing account plans to meet revenue targets. The ideal candidate has strong sales and communication skills with 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in software.
Must Have:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Resolve compliance issues while maximizing license value.
  • Understand customer priorities to identify Developer Experience opportunities.
  • Build and manage account plans to meet revenue and satisfaction targets.
  • Accurately manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Engage product groups and stakeholders in business planning.
  • Act as primary contact and advocate for the client within JetBrains.
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Sales experience in software vendors or distributors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with CxO level stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage account plans, CRM, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Experience acting as a single point of contact and client advocate.
  • Experience working with external legal firms and channel partners.
  • Strong negotiation and investigation skills.
  • Native Chinese Speaking and Fluent spoken and written English.

About You

The Account Executive works with dedicated enterprise customers. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and users within the organization, acting as a single point of contact for the client, and serving as the client's advocate within JetBrains. They manage the account plan and orchestrate the team to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction targets. An ideal candidate has strong sales and communications skills and previous experience with specific customers or industries.

As part of our team, you’ll:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to align on mutual goals and build trust.
  • Resolve compliance issues by balancing the customer relationship with maximizing the value of each License Compliance opportunity.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer priorities to identify opportunities for Developer Experience and educate decision-makers on the value proposition of JetBrains.
  • Build and manage account plans to meet revenue targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately manage sales pipelines and forecasts to ensure business goals are met and resources are allocated efficiently and make business predictable.
  • Engage product groups and stakeholders in business planning, prioritizing actions based on customer needs and growth opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for the client within JetBrains, seek customer feedback and feature requests to improve satisfaction.

We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:

  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales in software vendors or distributors with specific customers or industries and with a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and effectively managing the sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and users within the customer organization on CxO level.
  • Ability to manage account plans, work with CRM to accurately manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Experience in acting as a single point of contact for the client and advocating for the client's needs within the company.
  • Experience in working with external legal firms and channel partners to land sales opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and investigation skills.

Travel:

At least 50% of the time

Languages:

  • Native Chinese Speaking
  • Fluent spoken and written English
