Job Summary

The Account Manager at SBM Management is responsible for managing sales, maintaining existing client relationships, and ensuring continued business. This role involves being the primary contact for accounts, building strong client relationships, resolving conflicts, overseeing account management, negotiating contracts, identifying new sales opportunities, and giving presentations. Additionally, the manager will handle budgeting, sales forecasting, and team leadership, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and problem-solving for employees.

Must Have

  • Manage sales and maintain existing relationships with SBM customers.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all account-specific matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Solve conflicts with clients.
  • Oversee customer account management and negotiate contracts.
  • Establish budgets with clients.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Give sales presentations to high-level executives.
  • Forecast and track sales results and annual forecast.
  • Communicate progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives.
  • Meet time deadlines according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Interview, hire, and train employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to employees.
  • Ensure team members work in conformance with SBM policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership/motivation and convey SBM's vision and values.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations using key metrics.
  • Reward and discipline employees.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems among employees.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience in GMP.
  • Three plus years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years management experience in GMP required.
  • Three plus years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an A.A. Degree with 3+ years experience or a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.); with a minimum one year related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
