Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager for mechanical workshops. This role involves developing and implementing business development strategies, identifying territory potential, tracking action plans, managing territory activities to achieve sales objectives, leading the account development process from identification to contract renewal, maintaining rigorous CRM management, participating in corporate events, advising clients on products, presenting purchasing programs, staying updated on tire knowledge, conducting competitive analyses, and building long-term relationships with representatives and manufacturers.

  • Intermediate bilingualism (French/English) is an asset due to the organization's national activities and the need for effective communication between different regions.
Must Have:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies in line with company objectives and expansion plans.
  • Implement an action plan to identify the full potential of the territory.
  • Follow up on the action plan and regularly report on ongoing sales activities and account issues.
  • Manage territory activities to achieve company sales objectives.
  • Assume leadership of the entire account development process, from identifying decision-makers to obtaining or renewing major contracts.
  • Maintain a rigorous process for managing and tracking account development activities using a CRM.
  • Actively participate in corporate events involving your territory.
  • Advise and guide clients and prospects on the different product brands offered by the company.
  • Present and ensure understanding of the various tire purchasing programs and those of manufacturers.
  • Keep knowledge up-to-date in the tire field.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses and share research with the team.
  • Create long-term relationships with different representatives and tire manufacturers.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • On-the-road sales experience (essential).
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales and win-win negotiations for long-term partnership development.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, including executive level of potential and existing clients.
  • Strong leadership.
  • Good communicator, team player.
  • Business acumen and results-oriented.
  • Listening skills and customer service oriented.
  • Rigor in identifying good opportunities and following up on files.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with technologies: MS Office, CRM.
