Job Summary
Clearwater is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its Finance team. This role is responsible for directing financial strategy, managing budgeting and forecasting, overseeing monthly close processes, and developing financial operations for international entities. The Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and collaborate with senior management to drive organizational growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include managing the monthly close process, ensuring efficient procure-to-pay processes, reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and implementing process improvements for enhanced reporting accuracy. The role also involves assisting with year-end and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and managing audits.
Must Have
- CPA required
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Strong understanding of technical accounting practices including SEC reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel modeling
- Experience with NetSuite
- Strong communication skills

Job Description
Clearwater is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This pivotal role involves directing financial strategy, managing budgeting and forecasting, overseeing monthly close processes, and developing financial operations across our international entities. The successful candidate will report directly to the Controller and collaborate closely with senior management to drive the organization's growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly close process and anticipate any reporting issues
Collaborate with Head of Procurement to ensure efficient procure-to-pay process is implemented
Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliation
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
Assist in preparing year-end accounts and statutory accounts. Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards, timely and effective audit process for US Entities
Provide support to and manage timely and effective audits
Coordinate and partner with other regions to complete consolidation of financial statements
Requirements:
CPA required
10+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Combination of Public Accounting and large Corporation experience highly preferred
Strong understanding of technical accounting practices including SEC reporting
Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel modeling
Experience with NetSuite is a required
Strong communication skills acting as internal advisor
Financial reporting software experience, a plus
Experience in software implementation
Salary Range
$100,000-120,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
