Job Description

The Activations Manager will lead and oversee the Activation and Production Tech team, managing weekly activation schedules, live sports broadcasts, and promotional activities for TV and Radio brands. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing promotional campaigns, managing social media content, and assisting with large-scale events. The manager will engage with audiences, ensure compliance, and develop new promotional concepts, requiring strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Good To Have:
  • High school graduate or GED preferred.
  • Previous work experience in events, marketing, promotions, customer service, sales and/or related field preferred.
  • Previous work, volunteer or educational experience in broadcast, entertainment, arts, or advertising a plus.
  • Bilingual / English and Spanish skills preferred (oral).
  • Willingness to learn traditional and new Broadcasting skills.
Must Have:
  • Manage and Oversee the Activation and Production Tech team.
  • Manage Weekly Activations schedules of all station remotes, appearances, van hits and on-site contests, games and other promotional activities.
  • Oversee all Live Sports Broadcasts.
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of all Radio/TV station promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Manage weekly on-air and digital promotion campaigns.
  • Maintain compliance with contests rules and regulations.
  • Complete all reports and documents associated with promotion campaigns and activations.
  • Manage and coordinate and schedule both content and sales related social media campaigns.
  • Help Coordinate large-scale station events from conception to execution.
  • Build and Execute Livestream social media events.
  • Ability to multitask and take and direction from others.
  • Maintain regularly scheduled Promotions Department staff meetings.
  • Develop, create, and brainstorm promotional concepts and ideas with the sales department.
  • Abide by organizational norms, support organizational goals, and help foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional through stressful circumstances.
  • Prior coordinating or management experience necessary.
  • Must have a valid TX Driver’s License; maintain a good driving record and proof of insurance.
  • Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 2 years in Radio Broadcast / Board Operation experiences.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is comfortable presenting and speaking for our TV and Radio brands in public. Some one that is excited to engage with fans of our brands and interact with large audiences. An individual that is very confutable working in a fast pace and high energy environment. Great at working in a team yet comfortable managing activations and events on their own.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

  • At least 2 years in Radio Broadcast / Board Operation experiences
  • Willingness to learn traditional and new Broadcasting skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule- non- business hours including early morning, weeknights, weekends (Friday afternoon – Sunday night), holidays, and community/special events.
