Are you a highly organized professional who thrives on making others successful? KIVI in Boise, Idaho is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide critical administrative support to our general manager. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our leadership team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication flow throughout our organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Prepare advanced business presentation documents and spreadsheets that represent our station professionally
  • Assist in special projects, perform research and maintain records to support station initiatives
  • Compose correspondence on administrative matters and general office policies based on your understanding of management's perspective
  • Prepare recurring reports independently for signature, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Answer the phone, providing information and receiving details related to station operations
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries while coordinating all related arrangements
  • Anticipate and prepare materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings and calls
  • Prepare and distribute clear, concise minutes from meetings
  • Establish and maintain a variety of files and records with meticulous organization
  • Take and transcribe dictation as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in administrative support or related area of responsibility
  • Specialized training/certification may be required

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Three to five years related experience in professional administrative support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Above average knowledge of general office practice and business etiquette
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to perform secretarial and clerical duties with speed and accuracy without constant supervision
  • Good knowledge of business correspondence composition
  • Accurate and efficient typing skills
  • Above average interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and follow through
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professional demeanor, and discretion
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed, often with little notice

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
