Job Description

Designs, develops, and builds analog circuits in advanced process nodes for analog and mixed-signal IPs. Responsibilities include floorplanning, circuit design, parameter extraction, and analog behavior model simulation. The role involves creating and evaluating test plans, verifying functionality for optimization (power, performance, area, timing, yield), and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve design issues. Focus on optimizing performance, power, area, and reducing leakage, working with architecture and layout teams for robust circuit design.

  • Understanding reliability mechanisms of analog/digital circuits
  • Defining creative solutions to characterize these mechanisms through circuit design on test chips
  • Architecting test chips and developing design definitions
  • Working with Quality and Reliability test chip design team for solution implementations and for Si characterizations of reliability mechanisms
  • Collaborating with Technology development Quality and Reliability teams to develop architectural solutions for reliability optimization
  • Requiring expansive knowledge and practical application of circuit and product reliability methodologies at Intel
  • Experience in Custom and ASIC layout design, RV flow
  • Electronic Design Automation tools, flows and methodology, Layout cleanup expertise DRCs, density
  • Cadence Skill programing, Python and TCL programming
Must Have:
  • PhD/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and communication Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, or related field from reputed institute
  • Minimum of 5+ years with Ph.D or 8+ years M.Tech of experience with digital and analog circuit design

Creates test plans to verify design according to circuit and block microarchitecture specifications and evaluates test results. Verifies functionality to optimize circuit for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals. Collaborates cross functionally to report design progress and collects, tracks, and resolves any performance and circuit design issues. Optimizes performance, power, area, and reduces leakage of circuits. Works with architecture and layout team to design circuit for best functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a PhD/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and communication Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, or related field from reputed institute
  • Minimum of 5+ years with Ph.D or 8+ years M.Tech of experience with digital and analog circuit design.
