Job Description

Join Intel's Smart NIC Ethernet System Integration and Validation Networking Group to develop high-speed Ethernet controller ASICs. This role involves system validation and integration for Intel NIC silicon and pre-silicon projects, studying system architecture, leading test plan development, defining and writing automatic test plans, and actively participating in integration, feature enabling, and root cause investigation of test failures. You will also support Test Management tools and CI methodologies.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electronic/Computer Science Engineering
  • 5+ years of system validation experience in pre-silicon and silicon systems
  • Experience in testing IP networking systems (LAN, routers, network processors)
  • Knowledge in IP communication protocols and complex networks performance
  • Hands-on experience with networking tools like Scapy, Tcprewrite, IPtables, NetCat, Wireshark
  • Proven experience in program language in an tests development and automation test environment (C/C++/Python etc.)
  • Multidisciplinary and systematic system view, Knowledge in Embedded systems
  • Experience in planning, estimating and development of system tests
  • Experience in development of automation in validation environments

Job Description:

We invite you to join Intel's Smart NIC Ethernet System Integration and Validation Networking Group. Our team develops high-speed Ethernet controller ASICs featuring advanced cryptographic and compression capabilities, hardware-based storage protocols, and computational functionalities.

In this role, you will:

  • Do a System validation and integration for Intel NIC silicon and pre-silicon projects.
  • Study system architecture and system requirements, take part and lead test plan to address these requirements in collaboration with system architect, designs and FW engineers.
  • Define and write automatic test plans and system test procedures for pre-silicon and silicon systems and features.
  • Take active part, hands-on in team execution: integration and feature/product enabling,
  • Investigation of root cause of test case failures
  • Support Test Management tools like Lauterbach , Lecroy , IXIA , e.c.t and CI methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electronic/Computer Science Engineering
  • 5+ years of system validation experience in pre-silicon and silicon systems
  • Experience in testing IP networking systems (LAN, routers, network processors), Knowledge in IP communication protocols and complex networks performance.
  • Hands-on experience with networking tools like Scapy, Tcprewrite, IPtables, NetCat, Wireshark …
