Job Description

Responsible for producing high-quality realistic character animations, including performance, action design, and shot rhythm. Participate in animation storyboarding and shot design using UE5 Sequencer for 3D dynamic storyboards. Design animation solutions based on character personality and plot, ensuring the final quality of motion capture and keyframe animations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine animation pipelines and ensure consistent visual presentation. Utilize references and performance studies to enhance character animation.
Good To Have:
  • UE5 project experience (Cinematic/Sequence production preferred).
  • Motion capture project experience, able to participate in performance guidance or data cleaning.
  • Familiar with camera language, experience in short films, cutscenes, or narrative animation production.
Must Have:

  • 5+ years of 3D animation experience with a deep understanding of realistic animation.
  • Solid foundation in art and performance, familiar with human and biological movement laws, with a sense of shot rhythm and narrative.
  • Proficient in mainstream animation software like Maya or Motionbuilder, understand UE5 Sequencer workflow, and have animation import/debugging experience.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, able to proactively cooperate with directors, technical, and art departments.
  • Strong interest in game development, a spirit of learning, and a sense of responsibility, able to adapt to project pace.

Job Description

1. Responsible for producing high-quality realistic character animations for projects, including character performance, action design, and shot rhythm.

2. Participate in animation storyboarding and shot design according to plot and director's intent, proficiently using UE5 Sequencer to build 3D dynamic storyboards and performance rhythm.

3. Understand character personality and plot atmosphere, design animation solutions, and drive the final quality presentation of motion capture and keyframe animations.

4. Assist in perfecting animation production processes and standards, participating in cross-departmental collaboration (modeling, lighting, special effects, technology) to ensure consistent final presentation.

5. Work closely with the team, utilizing shooting references, performance research, and other means to enhance character animation expressiveness.

Job Requirements

1. Possess over 5 years of 3D animation experience, with a deep understanding and expressive ability in realistic style animation, capable of independently completing high-quality animation shots.

2. Possess a solid foundation in art and performance, familiar with human and biological movement laws, and have a sense of shot rhythm and narrative awareness.

3. Proficient in mainstream animation software such as Maya or Motionbuilder, understand UE5 Sequencer workflow, and have experience in animation import and debugging.

4. Have good communication and collaboration skills, able to proactively cooperate with multiple departments such as directors, technical, and art to facilitate animation implementation.

5. Be deeply interested in the game development process, possess a spirit of learning and a sense of responsibility, and be able to adapt to project pace and continuously optimize work results.

Bonus Points:

1. Practical UE5 project experience (Cinematic/Sequence performance preferred).

2. Motion capture project experience, able to participate in performance guidance or motion capture data cleaning.

3. Familiar with camera language, with experience in short films, cutscenes, or narrative animation production.
