PHINIA is seeking an APU Manager for its Juarez Plant in Mexico. This role is crucial for advancing sustainability and powering a cleaner tomorrow by ensuring the highest quality in fuel and electrical systems. The manager will be responsible for leading production, meeting quality and delivery targets, controlling costs, and developing personnel, all while upholding PHINIA's values and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
Must Have:
  • Completed professional studies
  • Bilingual - English
  • Minimum 3 years as production supervisor
  • Positive leadership, vision, problem-solving
  • Comply with production requirements and plans with the provided quality, delivery, and cost
  • Lead by example, considering the organization's values consistently
  • Directly responsible for consistent compliance with production requirements and required quality
  • Assignment and control of human capital according to priorities
  • Control of operating costs
  • Comply with training plans in their area and supervisor training
  • Disciplined use of the OMS system
  • Control of processes through PCP and participation in the Change Management process
  • Care and compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
  • Application of LEAN principles
  • Raise risk notifications
  • Comply with and follow up on quality, environmental, safety, and health guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • General administration of the assigned business unit
  • Achieve production programs and objectives for quality, delivery, cost, and personnel development
