The Assistant Product Manager - Road position at Trek is responsible for supporting various aspects of Trek's product lines. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely product data entry, creating part numbers, maintaining data integrity, assisting supply chain with forecasting and ordering, providing product information to Product Managers, placing sample orders, coordinating field testing, and addressing technical service issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with bicycle assembly and accessories is beneficial. This role is based at Trek's headquarters in Waterloo, WI.

Job Description

This position is responsible for a variety of activities in support of Trek product lines. This position is located at Trek’s headquarters in Waterloo, WI. 

 
Position Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for ensuring product data is entered into the system accurately and timely. 

  • Creates part numbers within the system. 

  • Regularly reviews system product data to ensure continued data integrity. 

  • Supports Supply Chain by assisting with providing information necessary to properly forecast and order products. 

  • Assists Product Managers by providing requested product information and updating information in the system. 

  • Places sample orders as needed. 

  • Coordinates product field testing and technical service issues. 

 

Position Requirements 

  • Must have good organizational skills and be highly attentive to detail. 

  • Must be customer service oriented. 

  • Must be proficient in Windows based computer applications such as MS Excel, Outlook. 

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Thorough knowledge of bicycle assembly and familiarity with accessories helpful.
