Job Description

Trek’s Marketing Team is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to elevate global email activity, turning the customer database into a powerful growth engine. This role involves running email marketing for international markets, driving engagement, loyalty, and revenue through personalized, data-driven campaigns. Responsibilities include planning, creating, and executing campaigns, developing automated lifecycle campaigns, and optimizing email performance.

Must Have:
  • Lead the charge in planning, creating and executing email marketing campaigns for multiple international markets.
  • Develop and manage automated lifecycle campaigns (welcome, onboarding, re-engagement, post purchase).
  • Work closely with local markets with planning and execution of local campaigns in alignment with the markets' broader business goals.
  • Implement email campaigns that capture the essence of our brand with a full funnel approach that inspires, educates and drives both e-commerce and in-store sales.
  • Understand, report on and execute clear strategies to improve key email metrics.
  • Adapt the strategy and planning in reflection of local market cultures, languages and nuances utilizing provided translation tools.
  • Write, edit and optimize compelling email copy aligned with the brand voice and in alignment with the global and local brand teams to ensure brand equity and position is supported alongside campaign objectives.
  • Conduct A/B testing to continually improve subject lines, content and send strategies.
  • Build and maintain segmented customer lists to ensure highly targeted and personalized messaging, making data-based recommendations on segments and event triggers.
  • Serve as one of our in-house experts in Trek’s email marketing platform - Iterable, creating and optimizing campaigns to ensure success and making recommendations on platform and data use.
  • Work closely with other channel specialists to strategize a cohesive approach to strategy and performance with a good understanding of the full media ecosystem.
  • Leverage learnings across markets to elevate the brands overall global presence and success.
  • Stay Ahead of the Game: Keep a keen eye on email marketing trends, tools and innovations to ensure Trek remains at the forefront of email marketing.
  • 4+ years of experience running email campaigns.
  • Proven understanding and success of managing email campaigns as part of a wider brand strategy.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities in alignment with the business goals.
  • Ability to clearly communicate performance and strategy to team lead or internal stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital advertising metrics.
  • Experience with google analytics (GA4); adept at data retrieval, dashboard creation, and audience development.

This person will run the email marketing channel for a number of international markets to drive engagement, loyalty and revenue through personalized, data-driven campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in planning, creating and executing email marketing campaigns for multiple international markets.
