Position summary
Trek’s Marketing Team is seeking an experienced digital marketing team leader for the global shared services digital marketing function. Managing paid search, paid social, and email specialists this function drives value across the business by generating awareness, interest, high-quality web traffic, brand growth and ultimately sales through digital marketing channels in multiple markets across the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach and develop the best digital marketing execution team in the world – ensuring cohesive digital activity across key channels, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Lead the charge in owning and managing paid search, social and email accounts for multiple international markets.
- Act as the strategic lead for digital campaigns, ensuring all channel activities work together to build brand presence and drive measurable sales growth through crafting innovative strategies and leading the execution of day-to-day operations.
- Maximise ROI of all digital activity while staying within agreed budget limits. Provide transparent daily reporting and tracking for all spend to key stakeholders as well as giving ongoing feedback and recommendations on budget and approach based on performance, platform updates and industry insights
- Manage budget allocation across paid search, paid social and email to maximize ROI, reach and efficiency through a full funnel approach.
- Working closely with the global and regional leads to ensure digital execution delivers on the agreed business goals
- Drive innovation in digital marketing approaches, testing new platforms, ad formats and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Implement advertising campaigns that capture the essence of our brand and drive both e-commerce and in-store sales. Experiment, test, and analyze data to make statistically significant improvements that fuel cost-efficient growth
- Serve as an in-house expert on key digital platforms (e.g. Meta, Ads Manager, google Ads, line, Naver, Kakao, email etc.). Creating and optimizing campaigns to ensure success
- Work closely with the global analytics and reporting team to ensure transparent analysis and reporting is supplied to stakeholders globally – showing clear ROI and performance Vs agreed targets
- Uphold best practices in campaign management, data privacy and compliance relevant to various markets (e.g. GDPR, advertising policies)
- Stay ahead of the game: Keeping a close eye on industry, consumer and digital trends you will act as an educator for both the Shared Services team and the wider business, ensuring Trek is at the forefront of the digital marketing field.
Skills, Experience & attributes
- 8+ years of experience running a digital marketing team, ideally across multiple platforms and markets
- Great leadership and coaching skills
- Proven understanding and success of managing paid digital activities as part of a wider brand strategy
- Ability to manage time and priorities in alignment with the business goals
- Ability to clearly communicate performance and strategy to your team and internal stakeholders
- Comprehensive understanding of digital advertising metrics
- Experience with google analytics (GA4); adept at data retrieval, dashboard creation, and audience development
