Job Summary
As Associate Animation Director at Quantic Dream, you'll collaborate closely with the Animation Director on ambitious projects, ensuring high-quality animation. Responsibilities include overseeing daily animation production, co-defining artistic style and rhythm, acting as a liaison with other departments, supervising animation teams (body and facial), communicating quality expectations, establishing workflows, and validating final animations. You'll need experience with Maya and Motion Builder, a strong understanding of animation principles, and proven people management skills. The role requires a high level of proficiency in English; French is a plus. This hybrid position offers a mix of remote and office work in Paris, France.

Job Description
Your Missions
- Support the Animation Director and ensure the daily follow-up of the animations produced by the department. You will co-define the atmosphere, style and rhythm of the sequences, ensuring unity and artistic continuity but also the rhythm of the work of the various participants.
- Become the main point of contact and bridge to the other departments of the studio.
- With the assistance of a lead, supervised the body animation team and the facial team.
- Communicate quality expectations and goals to the teams and develop clear strategies, establish workflows research documentation, and visual references to help the team achieve their goals.
- Follow and validate the animations produced, by the established artistic charter.
- You learn to know the target platform, the engine, and the performance capture tools in order to become a force of proposal and push the limits.
The skills we need:
- Senior-level experience in animation within the video games or Film industry.
- Experienced as a people manager.
- Games or Films worked on should have featured complex animation challenges, amongst others on realistic facial animation
- Expertise of Maya, Motion Builder (editing) and knowledge or experience in Rigging
- Disciplined and motivated, able to work autonomously and to deliver on milestones reaching a high level of quality
- Problem solver, professional and positive attitude, efficiency in communicating with multinational team
- English imperative, French would be greatly appreciated.
