Overview
We are seeking an Associate Director of Data Intelligence to serve as the strategic bridge between multiple internal teams and diverse client stakeholders. This role focuses on driving data product development, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of analytics solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Reports to: Senior Director, Advanced Analytics
Collaborates with: Internal teams (Engineering, Analytics, Strategy, Account Management, Project Management) and client stakeholders across diverse disciplines and brands
Responsibilities
- Identify long-term implications of insights and recommendations across several channels and brands.
- Guide junior team members to build foundational reports, understand data implications, and presentations that highlight relevant results and proposed actions
- Drive development and revision of dashboards and reporting capabilities based on client needs and market opportunities
- Navigate complex stakeholder landscape: align internal teams (engineering, analytics, strategy, account/project management) with client stakeholders
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering and translate business needs into feasible milestones and deliverables
- Help develop and maintain product roadmaps for data products and analytics solutions
- Self-serve answers from existing Tableau dashboards and dbt code to respond quickly to stakeholder questions
- Implement structured processes to reduce project timeline delays and improve delivery consistency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of previous experience in a marketing analytics or business intelligence role, including experience managing direct reports.
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of data visualization and analytic dashboard development with Tableau (preferred), Domo, Power BI, Shiny, Looker, or other platforms.
- Exceptional active listening and requirements discovery expertise - must demonstrate mastery of uncovering unstated needs, asking incisive follow-up questions, and distilling complex, conflicting stakeholder input into clear, actionable requirements
- Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple organizational levels
- Ability to read and interpret Tableau dashboards and dbt/SQL code to self-serve answers and troubleshoot issues
- Experience coordinating diverse cross-functional teams (technical and non-technical)
- Exceptional diplomatic communication skills for facilitating meetings, mediating conflicting priorities, and managing expectations
- Strong organizational skills with experience in milestone planning, delivery tracking, and business process improvement
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience using dbt Core
- SQL proficiency for source data discovery and troubleshooting
- Experience with data modeling and analytics workflows
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and CRM campaign measurement
- Background in telecommunications or similar enterprise client environments
- Experience managing competing priorities across multiple brands or business units

Compensation Range: $153,985 to $173,995 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
