Job Summary
PwC's audit and assurance professionals provide independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other information to enhance credibility for stakeholders. They ensure compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes. In financial statement audit, the focus is on obtaining reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement, issuing an auditor’s report with an opinion. This role requires a curious, reliable team member who adapts to diverse clients and challenges, takes ownership, and delivers quality work.
Must Have
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 12 months work experience at a public accounting or equivalent service organisation
- Must have written, or be scheduled to write all exams towards an internationally recognised accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA) within 6 months
- Proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience in Auditing and Auditing Methodologies
- Knowledge of External Audit and Financial Accounting principles
- Ability to perform Financial Audit and prepare Financial Disclosure Reports

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.
