Automation Test Engineer

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test cases across various scenarios including functional, integration, and regression. Key tasks involve performing API testing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Cypress, and conducting cross-browser compatibility testing. The role requires a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies, along with familiarity with test and defect tracking tools like JIRA. The engineer will also identify, document, and track bugs, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.

Must Have

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon)
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile
• Familiarity with test management (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking (JIRA, Azure DevOps) tools
• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon or similar.
• Conduct cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI testing across devices and browsers.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to test planning and story grooming.
