Senior Test Engineer – Guidewire (Insurance Domain)

Seeking a Senior Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience in functional testing, preferably within the insurance domain. The role involves analyzing business requirements, executing functional, integration, and end-to-end test cases across Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), and logging/tracking defects. The ideal candidate will participate in reviews, ensure test coverage, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide proactive updates. Strong communication and familiarity with test management tools are essential.

Job Description:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test cases across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Log, track, and validate defects in coordination with developers and business analysts.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, test case reviews, and defect triages.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with acceptance criteria and user stories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Provide daily test execution updates and raise blockers proactively.
• 4+years of experience in functional testing, preferably in the insurance domain.
• Exposure to one or more modules of Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and document test results.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
