Automation Test Lead / Architect

Seeking a highly experienced Automation Test Lead / Architect with 12+ years in software testing, including 8+ years in test automation and 5+ years in leadership roles. The role involves designing, implementing, and governing test automation, with deep expertise in frameworks for restricted secure environments and banking/financial applications. Responsibilities include leading automation strategy, mentoring teams, ensuring security alignment, and driving high-quality software delivery across retail and corporate banking channels.

Must Have

• 12+ years experience in Software Testing
• 8+ years in Test Automation
• 5+ years in leadership/architect roles
• Expertise in test automation frameworks for restricted secure environments
• Experience with banking/financial applications
• Proficiency in Java + Selenium WebDriver and offline JAR-based dependencies
• Experience in Web, Mobile (Appium), API/Microservice test automation
• Ability to handle Shadow DOM elements in Selenium 4
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) in restricted environments
• Experience in Database testing, SQL queries, and data validation
• Familiarity with Test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Rally)
• Hands-on experience in Islamic/Retail banking applications
• Awareness of cybersecurity & information security practices
• Domain knowledge in Islamic and retail banking products

Job Description:

• Seeking a highly experienced Automation Test Lead / Architect to drive the design, implementation, and governance of test automation.
• 12+ years of experience in Software Testing, with 8+ years in Test Automation and 5+ years in leadership/architect roles.
• Require deep expertise in test automation frameworks, restricted secure environments (no internet access, no Maven/Gradle, only offline JAR-based frameworks), and banking/financial applications.
• Will lead automation strategy, mentor teams, ensure alignment with information security policies, and drive high-quality software delivery across retail and corporate banking channels.
• Define and implement scalable, reusable, and secure test automation frameworks using Java + Selenium WebDriver and offline dependencies (JAR-based).
• Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver + Java (expert level) & Automation framework architecture (offline JAR-based, no Maven/Gradle).
• Should have experience in Web, Mobile (Appium), API/Microservice test automation & handling Shadow DOM elements in Selenium 4.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) in restricted environments & Database testing, SQL queries, and data validation.
• Should have experience in Test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Rally).
• Hands-on experience in banking/financial services, preferably in Islamic/Retail banking applications.
